The Women Behind the Wine!

The AdventurUs Women Escape Event Series just got better thanks to our newest sponsor Precept Wine. Precept Wine wants to make sure that your all-inclusive ticket not only includes free wine at each of our weekends but amazing experiences for wine lovers.

    • Escape @ LOGE Breckenridge attendees will get to experiment with blending to create their own custom red blend and also become a mixologist using the wine spritz cocktails under the guidance of Jenni Backes and Sydney Martinez.
    • Washington based viticulturist and vineyard manager, Brittany Komm, will be joining us for dinner on Saturday Escape @ LOGE  Leavenworth to talk about the science behind the grapes and walk us through the pairings of wines that she has grown and harvested and custom selected with the chef for dinner.
    • Sarah Cabot will join the Escape @ LOGE Bend festivities on Saturday for a pre-dinner wine seminar featuring Oregon wines where she will share her experiences as one of the only female winemakers in Oregon and her choice to cut alcohol out of her life.

“I am so excited to have the group taste some of our favorite wines from our extensive portfolio.  With the explosion of wine cans in the industry, we will be surrounded by the perfect environment that these were essentially created for – THE OUTDOORS! Camping, Hiking, Boating, River floating, and more.  I will also be hosting a Mixology session at Breckenridge with the different House Wine Can varietals to show you how to be your own bartender/mixologist with Wine Spritz cocktails and many more. On top of that, I will be leading a wine blending session, where we will pull apart and then combine all of Columbia valley’s finest single varietal Bordeaux-style blending grapes to create the perfect custom Red Blend, matching our very own Browne Tribute Red.”  – Jenni, National Accounts Director at Precept Wine

Browne Family Vineyards:

Launched with its first vintage in 2005 in Walla Walla, Washington, Andrew Browne of Browne Family Vineyards was inspired by the greatness of one man—his grandfather, a war hero, and Nazi hunter, William Bitner Browne. Integrity and excellence are the standards upon which Browne wines are created. This is premium Washington wine, made with the utmost quality and enjoyment in mind. Known primarily for Cabernet Sauvignon, a Bordeaux red blend and Chardonnay, Browne Family has expanded to nine varieties sourced from the legacy vineyards of five distinctive viticultural areas within the Columbia Valley. Each year’s limited production brings a fresh opportunity to raise the bar. More than 30 critical scores of 90 points or higher set the bar for excellence. Visit us in Downtown Walla Walla and Seattle’s Historic Pioneer Square.

Battle Creek Cellars:

Distinctively Oregon. Battle Creek Vineyard has a long tradition of producing premium Pinot Noir in the famed Willamette Valley. Long sunny days, tempered by cool coastal breezes and soils from ancient sea bed contribute to the quality of this single-vineyard Pinot Noir. Since 1998, Battle Creek Vineyard has produced terroir-driven Pinot Noir with delicious flavor and acclaim to match.
